Introvertedness sometimes suxxorz. In theory, I've always enjoyed being an introvert -- I have few friends, but they're good ones; better than having lots of friends that you hardly know, right? But, my personality type is such that I could probably not get along well with people I meet randomly in a bar or coffee shop (even if we have something vaguely in common). It's not that I'm incapable of holding a conversation, but rather, I find most people to be... Uninteresting.
I mean... I do suck at conversation... What do I say to somebody I'd like to talk to? "How much does a polar bear way? Enough to break the ice." Okay, great, ice broken... Frivolous small talk leading nowhere.
In any case, the internet is a place where it's significantly more likely I'll meet somebody more able to match my personality type... And, hopefully, add some dynamic aspect to my life.
