My name is Mike. I am a 22 year old working full time as an administrator for a clothing company, and trying to save up for more school. I went to school for fine jewelry making and repair and am currently working on a history degree. My ultimate goal is to go to grad school for archaeology. I love being active: hiking, fencing, biking, even just walking around and exploring different places. I am a practitioner of Asatru (Aow-sah-troo) which is the reconstruction of the pre-Christian Northern European faith. I'm very open to any questions anyone has about my religion and will readily answer them to the best of my abilities. I'm also a big fan of video games! I love RPGs specifically. I play the drums, and several different wind instruments casually. I love Renaissance Faires and Sci-Fi Conventions. I love talking (and listening of course) and learning new things from people. I tend not to like HUGE crowds, but don't mind hanging out with a few people at once, and can certainly handle a bar when i'm in the mood. I am also into Historic fencing and WMA, (Italian rapier, German Longsword Quarterstaff, etc), reading, doing research and writing papers (Weird, I know), last but not least, fine beer and beer tasting, beer is the new wine y'know! I'm looking for someone who is active, smart, witty, who can challenge me to better myself. I'm looking for someone who I can have fun with, who makes me smile. Someone who can share in my geekdom. Someone who is unique and independent, who is sensitive and compassionate, and most of all, trustworthy.
