I've always thought this whole online dating idea was weird, but life has been settling down lately and I need to expand avenues for meeting new friends.

I'm a recent graduate of Texas Tech, just bought a new house and working a good job in Artesia.

I'm finding out I'm a way bigger nerd than anyone else in my area including all of my current friends. I recently went to my very first convention with some friends that I met online gaming. I've always been into video games and sci fi shows and all that, but that was the first time I realized there are other board games than monopoly, and the amazing fun of D&D.

Anyway, ever since then I've been wanting more of that community. Then I stumbled upon this site and found what looks to be other like-minded souls. Although, my current hometown is drastically underrepresented (as well as with anything internet-related) so maybe I can reach out to some of you who are on the fringes of my territory.

I wouldn't say I'm looking for a girlfriend, although as those things go, you never know.

I don't want to tell too much in this profile so I can have something to talk about with someone, so I'll end it here. Hopefully you like what you've read so far.
