STARBASE: where no turtle has gone befoe My names Jon. Edinburg is my hometown. I live in Houston now as an Engineer. I'm typically a geeky wallflower. Pretty soft spoken and shy, but I'm actually really talkative when I'm having a good time and in the company of people with similar interests. I'm a romantic soul, it's where I have drawn on a lot of fantastic inspiration for my drawings in the past. I pretty outgoing for the most part. Often I'll just sit around home drawing, working on a story plot, or pondering ways to manufacture beam katanas and robots. I've got a 3D printer I built. That's kinda cool.

I like a lot of kinds of musics, mostly I'm down with Bowie, Daft Punk, Royksopp, Bad Religion, etc. I used to play the WoWness with approximate periodic subscription frequency 0.2 times per month. I'm off now, but I'll most likely play again someday. I'll read special topics/articles in math, engineering and physics for fun. I typically browse the internet looking for something absurd enough and ponder what actually holds the universe together, especially with a Jungian foundation.

I'll sometimes bust out my SNES and go total apes--- on Koopa, MotherBrain, Giygas, Gannon and/or Sigma (I shoot at a group of photos on a dartboard to choose). I used to go to MIT, but an extreme case of homesickness brought me back home. Then I grew kinda sick of home, so I found a job closer to the city. Ironic. I've drawn a lot of pictures for a sci-fi fantasy like story I started working on years back...I kinda want to write it all out, but I just haven't really gotten around to it...Just a few dialogues and descriptions. One day...
