Definition of a nerd? Nerds are people that are passionate about certain things, usually something that isn't all that popular. I'm huge. 6'5" and built like I should be playing football instead of taking apart computers and taking science classes.

Just to get it out of the way, I do live with my parents. Not my fault they're so close to the university.
My favourite things to do are learn, read, and watch documentaries/science shows.
I do enjoy occasionally going out on a tear, but just on the weekends. During the school year it's down to more like once or twice a month.
Why I joined?
First and foremost, expanding my social circle to include more people who aren't focused on getting s---faced every night.
Don't really meet anyone sitting at home reading and not too interested in the types I meet at bars.
