Roleplaying gamer goth geek seeks friends and more I'm quite reserved, with a dry, occasionally dark sense of humour. I am accidentally witty and wish I could do it on command. I tend to be very focussed on those things I'm interested in- a function of the Aspergers I've been diagnosed with.

Despite the Aspie-ness, I do enjoy socialising with friends. I tend to be polite, logical, open-minded and easy-going by default, and honest. I'm very hard to offend directly- though I do not like boorish behaviour or intolerance (particularly _unthinking_ intolerance).

I am by nature loyal- once someone has become a friend, they are usually a friend for life!

My major hobbies are roleplaying (particularly live roleplay), and computer gaming. I also like martial arts, though I've had a break of several years which I hope to end soon.

I'm inordinately fond of puns, even (or especially) bad ones.

I have a tendency to try and see the best in other people whilst unfortunately seeing the worst in myself- I am my own worst enemy, literally!

Media-wise, I like series such as NCIS, Firefly, Buffy, Dr Who and most of all Babylon 5.

I play a lot of computer games- especially things like WoW, Skyrim, Deus Ex. I'm also a dab hand at fighting games.

I have an eclectic taste in music, ranging from classical to black metal to J-Rcok to game soundtracks and most things in between. My favourite bands are Nightwish, Within Temptation and the Birthday Massacre.

Who I'm looking for:
At a basic level, new friends who share/can tolerate my hobbies would be a lovely start- I don't tend to meet as many people as I used to, so my social circles are fairly static.

But I'm also seeking a relationship (not a surprise, given the nature of this site!). So if you meet the criteria for friendship above, and are willing to put up the occasional times when I want to be alone, then drop me a line- at the very least you can make a new friend, and if we're both lucky, something more!
