This site is like revenge of the nerds in website form! Hey, My name is Eric. I'm on this site looking for some like minded people. I'm not really looking for anything to serious right now, but that's not code for casual s--. I'd describe myself as a bit of a secret nerd. I don't shy away from my interests, which I'll get into in a sentence or two, but when people first meet me they usually don't assume I love video games and Sci-fi movies.

Now that that's out of the way, I'm a 24 year old rentacop who works nights. I spend a lot of my time at work online or watching TV shows like Battlestar Galactica,Star Trek(take your pick), The Wire or pretty much anything HBO makes. I'm a pretty big gamer, if there's a system out there I probably own it or have in the past. I'm a pc gamer as well but not as much as I used to be. I'm a bit of a comic book nerd but not huge, I'll read anything by Garth Ennis or Alan Moore.

I love movies of all kinds but my favorites are 80's horror movies, 80's action movies, 80's sci-fi movies (there might be a pattern emerging here) but I like movies from all eras. I work a lot and live alone so when I'm not working I like to get out, I'm not much of a basement dweller, but don't get me wrong, I love staying in and watching a movie or playing a game and just vegging.

I do drink but I don't like getting drunk to often. I'm not much for clubs, pubs are more my speed. I really like exploring the city and going to restaurants I've never been to before. I'm not sure what else to say and I'd be surprised if anyone has read this far. But if you have congratulations.
