nycineaste I am a lover of cinema, I make films and am always doing something movie-related, writing a script, shooting a short film, or watching great timeless films.

I believe that cinema is about exploring and creating new worlds. I am a world-builder.

I have a background in art and music and apply this to my movies. Filmmaking is multi-disciplinary and I love that about it- it gives me a chance to satisfy my endless curiosity. I get to be a cinema-tographer, someone who captures and creates moving images, and an editor-magician who edits these images together into a story. In screenwriting I'm also a dramatist, someone who creates drama, a psychologist who explores human character and motivation and seeks out beauty and truth in life. It's exciting directing actors and watching them bring a script to life with their talent and magic. I love the theatre and spend alot of time reading great plays.

I have a highly creative social circle, my friends are actors, fine artists, musicians, and writers. I am highly supportive of anyone pursuing and living their dreams, especially creative people who are passionate about what they do. I believe an artist of any type is married to their craft first of all.

I grew up in some hard environments. I have battle scars. I can be rough around the edges sometimes.

I give excellent advice; I'm the guy my friends come to with their problems, creative or otherwise.

I believe the most important qualities in someone are integrity and a sense of humor.
