I'm a socially developed university student who is looking to enhance his network with some awesome nerd friends. People don't usually pick me for the hopeless geek I am until I school them at MTG (Johnny at heart) or pwn them at Super Smash Brothers/Soul Calibur.
I tend towards being the more laid back type of nerd, more comfortable playing a LAN of Diablo, Starcraft or DoTA than schooling newbs on the latest FPS.
But yeah, essentially any nerdish activity that exists, I have done- from D&D, through to MMORPG's to console/computer gaming, card gaming, tabletop wargaming and even theorising about possible awesome games people should create so I can play them.
What I'd like to find are people who share the same passions as me, who are also socially adept and can enjoy hitting a pub/dumplings.
Discussions on methods of survival in a zombie apocalypse, benefits of linux (and soliloquies on the crapness of vista), the likely winners of various anime faceoffs and the beauties of mathematics are all welcome conversation topics.
