I'm not a PROFESSIONAL geek. I volunteered. About me, eh...? I'm what might be referred to as an "undercover geek," but the term is a bit of a misnomer. I don't try and hide my geekdom. Ever. However, many people seem surprised by it.
I'm young and fairly attractive (i guess), and I work at a bank when I'm not scraping together units, so I guess they expect me to be more "normal," but if I were to compare my first experience in a club with my experience when I went to Anime Expo, I would definitely pick AX.
Anyway, I just thought I'd join up and look around to find someone interesting nearby. I could always use more geeky friends, but I'd absolutely love a geeky girlfriend to practice speaking Japanese with.
