Lets see, I moved to London a couple of years ago to start a new job in IT, and its been difficult meeting girls/women who share (or will put up with) my interests. I'm a bit shy and not a fan of night clubs or noisy bars, so online seems to be the best option.

I'm looking for a nerdette or someone with a liking for nerds in London, who would be interested in sharing some hobbies and fun. I've officially been branded 'nice' by most of my female friends, and I like to think that I'm a friendly and generous person.

I watch a lot of movies (mostly genre (sci-fi, horror, B-movies, fantasy, hong kong, japanese etc.)), play a fair bit of computer games (including WoW, though I'm getting bored of it), and read a lot of books. I'm a fan of some manga and anime, though the number of series I'm liking is going down year by year.

Beyond the world of nerdity I'm a fan of good food, exploring London and travelling, and I'm currently trying to learn Japanese (not entirely for nerdy reasons).

Physically I'm 6'2", brown hair, hazel eyes, short hair and a bit overweight, though I've started to get a bit more exercise (mostly long walks).
