ISO Standard Nerd If it can be built, I can take it apart. I love making things and I am good at fixing broken things.

I quit my job as a rocket scientist in Feb of 2012 and now I work as a freelance aerospace photojournalist and an architectural photographer. I've worked as a roadie, an actor, owned my own business and a list of technical jobs.

I read (audiobooks really) tons of SF. Both science fiction and speculative fiction. Toss in some Michael Chrichton, Robin Cook, Tom Clancy and Dean Koontz for good measure. I watch very little TV and don't own a game system. I love science and engineering. I don't like little dogs.

I love to cook and I even wash dishes.

You won't catch me at Ren-Faires, playing D&D, WoW or LARPing. I am a nerd rather than a geek or spaz.

I'd really like to move to the moon or possibly Mars. The challenge would be exciting. Besides, "this ain't my planet, monkey boy!" (name the movie).

I would like to find somebody with similar or complimentary interests. I am a guy, IE: shallow so I want a gf/lover/significant other that I find attractive. There's a wide latitude and I do factor in intelligence heavily, so don't be shy. Pretty eyes and/or a beautiful smile grab my attention.

You should like to travel and not be afraid of camping, hiking, etc.
