I'm an atypical geek - I like all kinds of normally geeky things like computers, technology, fantasy and science fiction, anime, reading, roleplaying games, etc. but I also like going out, socializing and doing things with family and friends. I have three children, two of them who live in Indiana with their mother and a four year daughter that is here in CA. By day I'm a database developer working in Burbank, and I'm working on my Bachelor's degree. Some of my favorite books are Neuromancer by William Gibson, The Lord of the Rings, almost anything by Clive Barker, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, and The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I like a wide variety of movies. VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, Covenant, Seabound, The Killers, She Wants Revenge, The Airborne Toxic Event and Apoptygma Berzerk are some of my favorite bands.
What I'm looking for sounds so simple, but it's proven really difficult to find. I want someone who is smart, honest, and understands my hobbies and passions. I can't lie and say that appearance doesn't matter, but personality is a big part of attractiveness - if the spark is there, someone doesn't need to look like a supermodel.
