I'm a gamer in many forms, tabletop role playing (I can GM with the best of them), computer, board games, et al. I love to read Science Fiction, Fantasy and a smattering of just about everything else. Ditto for Video, big or little screen.
I have been a Star Trek fan since I saw the original series when I was in the single digits. I love Monty Python, Mel Brooks, LOTR, Piers Anthony, Asimov, Poe, Lovecraft, Steven King, The movie Secretary, the B5 Series was wonderful, I enjoyed Firefly very much and I am currently enjoying Battlestar Galactica. I have been getting into Jim Butcher big time lately. I have played numerous game systems (every version of D&D, GURPS, MP, The Fantasy Trip, Traveler, World of Darkness, etc) and will try anything once. It's about the story, the action, and the interaction more than the game mechanics for me. The most important part of any role playing game are the people sitting around the table (or swinging around foam swords for that matter..) I enjoy conversations, I love to talk, discuss, joke, and otherwise interact with people. I am much more about small groups or even individuals. I find sports I am not participating in boring. I love weather, standing out in the wind with the smell of a storm coming in or even the rain washing over me is an awesome feeling. I lean towards cheerful and try to be optimistic. I love cheezy humor, accents, and coming off with one liners at the oddest times. My brain switches on and off on its own so these things usually either happen spontaneously or they don't. I'm actually on here for two reasons one is to date in anticipation of finding a life mate. The other is to make friends, meet new folks, and enjoy the social aspects of it all. Finally let me say that I have found that Life is a balance. You have to balance work and play. A couple has to balance together time with both alone time and social time. Inner life and Physical life.
