While I would consider myself a nerd (obviously why i'am here) I have other passions, such as Classic Rock, Metal, Football and playing guitar. However the first and always biggest one would be toward video games. I've been playing video games since I was 3 years old. My dad let me play the original legend of zelda when I was still in diapers, and i've been hooked ever since. I think the 8 bit era and 16 bit era were the best time for video games, not that they're bad now but there seems to be a bit of charm that I miss about it. Currently play on xbox 360, as of right now the games I mostly play are gears of war 3 and skyrim when I feel in the mood for it being a dovakin and all. I keep in touch with the gaming world on a regular basis, i'm what you would call a "hardcore" gamer. Though I love gaming i'm also really big into DDR (dance dance revolution) actually pretty good at it too. I'm not a huge fan of anime but the few animes I do like such as: fulll metal alchemist orginal and brotherhood, neon genesis evangelion, inuyasha, yu yu hakashu, dragonball z, etc. I REALLY REALLY LOVE. I also frequent anime conventions, usually about 3-4 a year. I do cosplay at them and in the last year got my friends to cosplay as well, so we do group cosplaying. I guess what i'm looking for on here is someone that I can just sit down with a discuss video games, anime or ther things of nerdom with and have them totally understand what i'm talking about. Someone who I can bring to a con and have them cosplay with me if they felt like and just know what it means to be part of something that I have always held very sacred to myself.
