I've joined this website in order to meet like minded interesting eclectic women with eccentricities and quarks that make them unique. In short that is what my definition of a nerd is. someone with eccentricities and quarks who aren't ashamed of themselves for it. I've been playing guitar for over 12 years and I've also played piano for sometime. Music is a huge part of who I am. I can listen to almost any genre of music, but my favorites include prog rock, power metal, prog metal, operatic metal heavy jazz, free form jazz, classical music of course and classic rock. I enjoy reading and studying Koine Greek and Bibical Hebrew in my spare time but I'm not super religious. Spanish is also something I take interest in. Tai chi and yoga are also two of my favorite past times.
I'm pretty laid back and I don't like to go out and party a lot or cruise the bar scene anymore. Been there done that. My definition of partying is having a few close friends over and having a few drinks and socializing with the people you care about but I only drink socially. I would really love to meet a woman who is sweet kind and sensitive and shares my interests but even if we don't share interests it can still be a nice thing because I might develop new interests in getting to know yours. I know this may sound cliche but I really do judge more by a persons intelligence and personality then by shallow surfaces. Looks do mean something to me, I'd be lying if I said they didn't, but in the long run they're the least important aspect of what I'm looking for in a woman. In summary I'm looking for a best friend first and someone who enjoys my company as much as I enjoy theirs. I think a girl friend should be your best friend first and always. But enough about me.
