Hey folks. Not quite sure what I am looking for on this site yet. I've tried a few other sites like this, but seeing as I am into many things some people consider "nerdy" (think video games, comics, toys, computers, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, etc.) I thought I'd try my hand in the nerd scene...

I hate to use the term "laid back," because everyone says that, so I'll just say "chilled out." I'm a chilled out goofball, always cracking jokes and trying to make people laugh. I try not to take myself too seriously, because well...that's just not too much fun. I'm a little sarcastic, but in a good way (I swear)

Although I'm a jokester, I'm also very disciplined and driven. I know when it's time to get serious, but I try to keep this to a minimum.

I'm a software engineer and I love my job. It's challenging and stressful at times, but it is very rewarding. Still living at home for now, saving up to be set up nicely on my own when the time is right.

I love, love, love music. I go to many, many shows. I have been playing guitar for years and just recently got into bass as well. I have started a nice little collection. I'm mostly into rock of all sorts (hard rock, metal, soft rock, some punk, etc.) but I also dig the old school style hip-hop (Wu-Tang is for the children), and can even get into some more poppy-type stuff sometimes.

I love to try new things and meet new people, so don't be too shy to drop me a line. You might be pleasantly surprised...
