Love to read, watch movies, listen to music, attend theater and museums, travel and walk and hike. Enjoy conversations about politics, meaning-of-life silliness, and on and on. An attractive face, nice eyes, love swimming, hiking and regularly exercise with treadmill and weights. I have a silly thread that is woven into most aspects of my life. One of the joys of being a father to three kids (all in college now) was the delight of getting "down on the rug" and playing with them. The child-like silliness that is part of growing up is something I reveled in -- from singing silly songs ("Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fun") to splashing in puddles and building sandcastles.

In "adult mode", I find it difficult to take too much seriously. Sometimes to a fault but I have a tendency to find humor in most anything. Some of that is born of cynicism but mostly I take joy in the mirthful. I still enjoy spotting creatures in the clouds (very Rorschachian), feeding ducks, going to the zoo, etc.

Although I am attracted to things that tickle the brain it is out of the joy it brings and not out of some purely serious mindset. I love Shakespeare but Monty Python has given me some of my greatest laughs. Mozart, Bach, etc. are great, but Zappa has been my favorite for decades.
