Thismachine, 45

I lie for a living, as a friend of mine recently pointed out. I'm a retoucher, also known as the guy that takes pictures of already freakishly emaciated and oddly proportioned women and makes them even more so in order to support a completely unrealistic ideal of beauty propagated, oddly enough, mostly by other women and gay men. Actually, I'm sorta in-between jobs right now and have way too much thinking time on my hands, as if you couldn't tell.

What I really want to do is draw comics, which I freelance on the side. Right now I'm working on this thing for a small company about what would happen if the Power Rangers were real.

I'm originally from Georgia, lived in Chicago for about 5 years, moved to New York for a year, moved back to Chicago for a year, now I'm back in New York.

All I brought with me is my portfolio, a computer, and my giant Winsor McCay hardcover because really, what else do you need?

I'm a hopeless movie, music, comic, food snob and a reformed punk.....sorta...and I play video games.....
