Hello there, I consider myself to be a pretty traditional person with good morals and values. I place a high value on intelligence, both in myself, and in my friends and significant others. I am currently studying to become a doctor, but I have a myriad of other interests such as history, psychology, and art. I think that it is important to be well-read and aware of current events. In today’s materialistic and egocentric society, I find that it is really important to look outwards and be empathetic to others, instead of solely focusing on oneself. I consider myself to be a shy individual, and I have difficulty meeting new people in groups. However, once people get to know me, they often find that I am very easy to get along with. I place very high value in trust and loyalty, and I am always available to be a shoulder to lean on. My favorite times are spent doing outdoor activities (biking, Frisbee, soccer), or watching a movie and chatting with close friends.

My ideal girl would be smart, worldly, compassionate, independent, and has a nice smile. My ideal date with her would be to spend a quiet fall day walking Central Park with hands entwined, and watching the leaves turn crimson.

The reason that I am joining this website is because I have had difficulty finding girls. The major problem is that I am often too shy to approach girls who I find attractive. Because of my lack of experience, I often feel uncomfortable and self conscious. I know that I have a great personality and that I would make a great boyfriend. However, my lack of successes has led me to seriously question my ability to be seen in a romantic and ------ manner. I am also self conscious of my looks, as I have absolutely no idea of how I rate.
