WANTED: a best friend and a hot date I'm a pretty normal, laid back guy. I work from home as a writer for a software company (what's more nerdy than that?) and have spent most of my life being a musician. I have recorded cds with a couple different bands, but love to write and record from home as much as I can.

I'm hoping to find someone here who also loves doing the things I've begun calling "guilty pleasures" because of societies standards. I've realized that pretending to like things you don't enjoy just isn't fun anymore. So here are some things that I love.

Movies are a huge passion of mine, I love stories that can completely take you away from reality. I think that sci-fi, anime, horror, or any other mind bending genres of film are the absolute best. I can spend a whole day watching movies like this back to back.

I also love video games. I don't consume all my time playing them, but who can honestly say playing a great RPG or nostalgic game like Mario kart is a waste of time. I call your bluff if you do, just admit it that you love it, cause you know you do.

I'm really hoping to find someone who is still kind of in their shell or at least tolerant of someone else who is shy. It's something I can't shake, but I will say once I get to know someone and I really trust them, they get the pleasure of seeing the best I have to offer.
