a cool nerd,,is there such a thing? i want to meet a person who i can be a companion with. a special someone that i can be totally myself with, without shallow expectations on what people think i should be. no pretentious relationships or acts of acceptance, and certainly no inhibitions of being really myself. it is the thing that someone like myself always wishes for and desires. to find others who can relate to notwithstanding different and diverse interests and passions. the substantive component is knowing someone for themselves and better yet those who have a passion for life,and for something in it. to me, that is what a nerd is. not just a geek or a person who isn't adroit and adeptin popularity,glib and fashion,but a person of passion. as a poet/writer and musician, it can be summed up in this most insightful and inspiring quote by one of my literary idols, jack kerouac,"the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes ã¢â€âœawww!ã¢â€â this is what i would like to find in my mate and in a friend,a lover and someone i could go through life with however the situation or circumstance. out with the complicated and let's get down with the simple. just the idea of meeting someone with passion and who embraces simplicty makes me want to do the james brown in the middle of the kitchen floor in my church socks. well, i don't go to church but what the heck. life is too short for seriousness all the time but when it comes to your passion and your interest that is where it should lie. that is what i'm about. how about you? i like the everyday small talk, the occassional football game however my favorite thing is to be with someone i can truly connect with and speak our hearts and minds without revile
