Unfairman, 44

I'm (unfortunately, not) Batman! I've recently become vegetarian. Well, I still eat fish, so I guess I'm a plescosomethingsomething. But still, I'm trying!

I'm a rock and roller at heart, though Pearl Jam is ultimately my favorite band I'm really digging bluegrass/acoustic/folk music. I've seen The Avett Brothers twice now, at First Ave in March and then recently again at the Basilica Block Party, because they are so. freaking. good. live. My favorite band of the past 6 months is Mumford & Sons...you should really check them out.

I play the guitar fairly decently, and I'm starting to play the banjo.

I was a Peace Corps volunteer from 2004 - 2006 in the Republic of Kiribati (don't worry, I'd never heard of it either). My assignment was Public Health and Community Development, and I wish that I could say I taught one quarter as much as I learned. Though it had its ups and downs, I really enjoyed my time as a volunteer and would ultimately love to do something similar for a living...though preferably I would get paid to do it.

Ultimately, I don't see myself spending the majority of the rest of my life in the U.S. I seek something more... adventurous.
