I love travel. So far, I've spent a month in Thailand with nothing but a daypack, a month in Lyon, France being an au pair for some friends, and a couple of weeks in Tokyo because I always wanted to go there. I'd love to visit Vietnam, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, India, and, well, just about everywhere!

I'm into a LOT of geekdom, but not obsessive. Bonus points to you if you know when the narwhal bacons, what you used to be before you took an arrow in the knee, and who says "Bazinga!" Also, if you're familiar with names like Moss, Kryten, Moot, Vyvyan, Cleese, Totoro, Jayne, Baldric, Silent Bob, Westley, Wesley, Vork, Captain Hammer, Adama, Radagast, Gmork, Fizzgig, Batiatus, Xander, Abed, Ford Prefect, and Schmendrick.

I'm insatiably curious about history, culture, linguistics, astronomy, biology, sociology, gastronomy, neurology, astrophysics, and lots more. I go on occasional documentary binges and fill up my head with new stuff and then let it percolate for a while and explore it. I love to learn.

I really like going out to karaoke, having a few pints and singing. I'm told I'm pretty decent. However, as much as I love good beer, I am not a drunk, so no worries. I keep myself in check and when I'm tipsy, I'm happy and silly, never angry. I don't drink every day. In short, you never have to worry about me and alcohol. I am not at all into clubs. Pubs, not clubs! I do stay in a lot and love to watch movies and cuddle and talk. But it's good to get out now and then and stretch one's comfort zone! Maybe try an unfamiliar restaurant or hit a hookah lounge.
