I like shiny things. No, really, I do theater lighting and photography. I understand how light works and love to play with it. I see the world in terms of light and will often stop to watch natural light when it is absolutely amazing. I have also taken photos all around the country (well, mostly the Southeast) and I love to pull out my camera when I see something beautiful.

While I may live in the South, I grew up in Chicago, so don't expect the normal Southern boy. However, I did grow up with three sisters (and way too many female cousins), so you might just discover the gentlemen part if you look close enough.

I currently work full time for my church. God is important to me and to be able to make ministry my career is an extreme blessing. I am not perfect by any means, but I am forgiven. My actual job is hard to describe. I do a little bit of everything there. I edit videos, clean bathrooms, mentor middle schoolers, set up rooms, design the stage lights, and a whole lot more. I couldn't even begin to list everything I've done there. I am very passionate about my church. I am sold out to its mission and that is what my life is about. My dream job would be to do the stage lighting for them (with a little bit of video editing on the side).

One of my biggest achievements and one of the few things that I brag about is being an Eagle Scout. I spent 10 years in Boy Scouts to obtain it and it has truly helped to form the man I am today (for the better, in my opinion). Because of this, I have a silhouette of an eagle tattooed on my back shoulder.
