Hi, I'm Matt. I'm a nerd looking for another nerd, if that wasn't obvious. I consider myself to be easy-going and rational, or at least most of the time. I play a lot of video games, mainly rpgs, but also tend to read a fair bit of manga/watch anime, watch movies, play board games, the usual stuff. I enjoy staying a little active as well though. I like soccer, camping, snowboarding, squash, and running. Staying in shape (or at least staying thin) is important to me, though my metabolism does most of the work. I also like to go play pool or bowling or stuff along those lines. Pretty much anything that doesn't involve me dancing or getting up on a stage or just generally standing out, I'm kind of self-conscious that way.
I'm currently working as a restaurant manager, and am hoping to eventually own something similar of my own one day once I have the necessary skills, resources, and connections. Until then, I'm fairly content to keep living the easy life as I save up money so that I can eventually afford my own place (currently renting), get married, have a couple of kids, the usual stuff.
I'm essentially looking for someone similar to me. Someone easy-going who I can relax around. Someone I can have a logical debate with rather than a fight. Someone not too high maintenance who can respect the fact that sometimes people just need to be alone for a few hours. Someone I can eventually settle down with a life a simple, normal life with ("normal" depends on your definition I suppose).
I will mention a few things I don't care for just to save time. I don't care for pets, people are more interesting. I don't care for tattoos or piercings. And I'm not looking a fling, I'm only interested in long term relationships, although I prefer to take it nice and slow. Divorces are a pain after all.
