There's a lot I could say here, but I'll try to cram it in. I'm a very down to earth man when it comes to raising my kids, but I am a dreamer too. I hold high ideals and standards for myself, but feel every person must live their own lives by whatever works for them. I really love to write, short stories, poems and the great American novel that never gets finished. When it comes to my profession, I give it my everything because the children I work with deserve it. I have a passion for helping others deal with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. I listen when no one else gives them a voice, I comfort when the whole world has been turned upside down. Somedays, I have to really cleanse my spirit before coming home, but I am a firm believer that "If not me, then who?" But on a much lighter note I am also, a nerd. I have been one for as long as I can remember. LOTRs, Star Trek, Star Wars, Clerks yeah I can quote'em, but really I am not obsessed. I know how to act "normal" in public and around a girl's family---whoa wait was that a zombie! No, ok we're cool---but when I'm with the guys you better watch out, for the dice and Monty Python quotes will fly!
I would love to find a lady who can go on a wine tasting with me one day, go camping the next and then lay down a impeccable rendition of "the knights of Camelot" in the most terrible butchering of the King's English. That said I am looking for someone to get out with now and then, enjoy some good times, share some laughs, try some new things and hopefully build a relationship somewhere along the way.
