I can think of a whole bunch of things I'd much rather be doing... like reading, writing something other than a profile, making some music (not a metaphor), curling up on the couch to watch a favourite TV show, going out to the movies, listening to music on my iPod, hitting a bar for some music and the company of friends etc. So why write the profile, then? Well, the fact of the matter is that I don't meet many people these days who are interested in the things that I am passionate about... and thus far I haven't been able to find where are the cute nerd girls are hiding. So here I am. Searching, like so many others, for a person I can click with. Someone who will actually understand my weird pop culture references and like me for me.
People throw around terms like 'kindred spirit' and 'partner in crime', and truthfully I'm not sure how else to phrase it. I think on some level we're all looking for that person that we can marvel at, whose face we can look upon and smile from the very middle of our selves. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want that... what can I say? I am a bit of a romantic at heart. Don't hold it against me... or do. Your call
