Ever get a little too involved?

I was playing Portal the other day and one of the main antagonist lines is to make snide comments about you. It caught me off guard and it actually made me feel super insulted , so I'm just raging over my laptop, like someone just insulted me. Has anyone else ever been so immersed in the story this happens to them? :)

I play simulation type games a lot, like rise of flight or ARMA, sometime I do get really into it and will start over the game when I die. Its as though that guys story is done, ended prematurely and tragically, hopefully the next guy will have better luck.

Mass Effect for me was incredibly engaging and immersive i would laugh at the characters jokes get pissed at the bad-guys and by the end of it all i wanted to weep for everything the characters had lost and gone through.
