Alright in all honesty FF sucks. It's a really REALLY poorly done line of RPGs. FF7 was a step below mediocre with 4 and 6 being the only two games of the series worth looking at. As far as RPG's go though, I love them. Look into games like Suikoden, Rhapsody a musical adventure, and Lunar. Working Designs and Atlus made games are way better than square.

Well my Favorite was Final Fantasy 9.
My least favorite was Final Fantasy 8.
Every sequel is a exciting new adventure.
Love the series.

I love the ff series and played through most of them, but 10 has a place in my nerdy heart, but i can't explain why lol. Just seemed to click with me.

`I'll revive this one. I love Final Fantasy games. I'm a RPG gal through and through. My favorites are the newer ones. I liked the more modern (and OCD - junctioning/drawing) feel of FF8. The fun and cartoony feel of FF9. 10 blew me away in graphics. X-2 should have been a stand-alone, though, it sucks as a sequel but is fun as hell if you play it as it's own game.
However, 12, well...all those blond people scared me. It was like Village of the Damned. I didn't get far. I picked up 13, though. See how that one goes!

in fact FF8 is my favorite FF in the series i stopped playing after FF10 came out because it was the beginning of the ruination of the franchise (in my opinion) they started getting rid of some key FF elements like the open world & it ended up being extremely linear in my opinion
i also like FF11 but not as much as other MMOs

`Heh I started on 7 and ofcorse fell in love with it, but then again I was 12. Lookin back on it 7 is a little dull givin there is no voice acting which makes adding emotion to the game itself difficult and lack of facial expressions takes a big toll as well.
But the materia system imo was one of the best fighting styles and they're artwork and music where amaizing.
with that aside Id have to say 8 had my favorite story and 10 had my favorite ending =p.

yeah but in 7 the emotional content was set by the music as was many games at that time which in many ways are still a great theme with games because you can still have great voice over & no emotional content

`Helping to run a FF fan site, I guess I like the series. Though I've only played FF7, 8 & 9 (favourite is FF8), I should really play them all again plus the others of course when I get the time.
