1. I enjoy video games more than your average bear.
2. I will watch "Any" movie at least once and if i like it i will watch it about four thousand more times.
3. In casual conversation i have a bad habit of using lines that i have heard in movies or on a television program (in character no less).
4. I get my kicks by designing computer builds when i am bored.
5. I have about fifteen gigs worth of music on my computer (and it's all good!).
This is my top five list of reasons i consider myself to be a nerd.

`Anime, manga, and video games are most of my life. (aside from things like college and work and sleep.) I enjoy seeing cosplay and am eager to try it myself. (Permitting I get the funds to do so.) In a nutshell that is basically it. I mean I could go on and on about Anime but I don't have the time for that.

I fit the normal description of a nerd: I am smart and love to learn; I wear glasses; I don't have any fashion sense; I am a little goofy; I am socially awkward; I am close to being a 40-year-old virgin (by choice).
I'm a grown, black man and I get a thrill out of cartoons (especially from my youth). I quote cartoons when I am alone, for example...
(1)"Spare me your petty judgements: they spring from a brain too meager to comprehend my reality!" (Apocalypse from X-Men)
(2)"You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be led." (Daffy
Duck)
I'm sure I could go on and on, but I will end this post with something awesome. I am one of many out there who has an awareness that I am in sync with the universe, that things are happening to guide me toward my destiny (synchronicity). Examples are seeing repeating numbers like 11:11 on a clock or other frequent repeating patterns in life that seem like coincidences.

`I dunno really!! My mates class me as a nerd because;
I love lots of TV, especially Buffy, Angel, Haven, NCIS, 24, LOST, Charmed, Warehouse 13, A Town Called Eureka etc etc (I l;ove Whedon creations movies and tv shows and get excited way too much when I find out a BTVS actor is going to appear in another show such as Warehosue 13)
I love movies as much as the next guy/gal especially syfy and musicals! Along with some romcom for good measure but I don't really like horror unless it's vampire based.
I love Anne Rice and have most of her older books especially the Vampire and Witches stories.
I spend way too much time online... forums mainly and a chat room.
I would love to have the cash to buy many more tv and movie box sets than I have.
And I'm just about to start reading a book on HTML5 and CSS3.
