I'm into fuel cells. They're the most efficient usable power source. Their theoretical efficiency is 100%. The principles they use can allow you to make power out of almost anything. Imagine peeing into one, for it to produce electricity from the urea in your urine. Imagine using booze to power your car. Most commonly you have the hydrogen fuel cells which use hydrogen. The end result is clean water. Pretty neat. Super efficient. Problem is the construction can be a bit expensive as the optimal catalysts for the many proposed reactions are still in development.
