Anyone who is interested in me also needs to accept that I have a two year old son to whom I am a committed parent, and as such needs to like kids and be open to a relationship with him.

I'm a hardcore nerd who loves fantasy, sci-fi, and historical literature, particularly J.R.R. Tolkien. I am also a fan of Star Trek, anime, and independent and foreign films and I like PC and console gaming when I have time, particularly RPGs and strategy games. I write a lot-- fiction, essays and poetry. I like to travel and hope to spend time in the U.K. in the coming years. I also have a variety of unique interests such as medieval English history, weaving, and calligraphy.
