I am not easily intimidated, but it does happen. I have a large family and was raised with pretty standard morals and values.Though I have physical flaws like everyone does, I accept my own body and am more comfortable in it than most supermodels are in theirs. I like lots and lots of different things. I'm eclectic and love new ideas. I LOVE art. Looking at it, creating it, looking for it where you wouldn't expect it, etc. I recently visited the Art Institute of Chicago, saw Van Gogh's self portrait and felt like I had just met a celebrity. I am awed by intricate architecture. However I'm not an art snob. I'd rather look at it than discuss it, and it's not all I talk about. I like cooking, once in a while. I have to be in the mood. I follow astrology and I believe in fate. Although, the fate I believe in usually isn't the fate I get. I believe in ghosts and have lived in haunted houses (Ask me about it!). I like going to Blues and Cardinals games even though I don't follow either sport closely. I'm girly - I love getting dressed up and looking pretty. I don't do it for acceptance, I do it because I like it. I'm looking for someone with similar yet different interests in order to keep things interesting. I like brains, wit, modesty, passion, and honesty. I think the right pair of glasses are hot. I want someone to share my day with when I get home from work, go out with when the work week is over, and generally think is adorable.
One thing I think it's fair to mention: I'm a former smoker, I quit three years ago. But every once in a while, those cravings come back when I'm under severe stress. Thankfully those occasions are very rare and very far between. I ask for patience and understanding for times like that.
