Sweet with a side of nerd
I am an academic with a sweet side, just looking to connect with some other people, make some new friends, and combat the hermit tendencies my grad student life has brought out in me. I have some decidedly nerdy interests, including SF and fantasy, talking about how religions fit into cultural systems, and playing games like Risk or Axis and Allies (although I like Attack!). I'm intelligent and I don't think I should have to apologize for being smart. I have a wicked side, but only those I trust see it these days. I enjoy writing and am working on improving my skills in terms of fiction. Love to read, and I have always been a bookworm.
