Real Love Stories Never Have Endings I am a country cowgirl and equestrian looking to become a veterinary technician. I love the outdoors: hiking, trail riding, road trips, you name it. I grew up playing backyard baseball, and if it involved flipping, twisting, or being bendy, I probably did it. Horses are a huge part of my life and always will be. My favorite fictional universe ever is Star Trek - all series - but I also love the X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, anything on Animal Planet and cop shows and crime dramas galore, particularly NCIS, CSI, Castle and, shamefully, CSI Miami.

I read like a fiend, and for some odd reason, I also read very fast. I will always have a paperback somewhere nearby, probably a Diane Duane or David Weber novel. I argue politics and philosophy passionately and love history of all sorts, including military history - for Christmas I asked for, and got, Churchill's six volumes on WWII. I am also a biology geek, but I cannot comprehend chemistry to save my life, much to my dismay. I love animals - adore them, really - including rodents, lizards and snakes. Basically, if it has a skeleton, I will probably try to feed it and/or pick it up. I also tend to be the cuddly type.

I'm not really a gamer - I'd rather spend my time online or watching television or movies or, best of all, riding - I'm a bit of the outdoorsy type, once I find the energy to get off the couch. You're welcome to try and teach me, but I can't make promises about how well I'll do! Ditto for MMORPGs. However, the release of Star Trek Online might just be enough to finally get me started.

I will listen to just about any band that isn't hardcore metal or rap (they both give me headaches). However, my first love is country music, from Taylor Swift all the way to the Zac Brown Band. A country geek, I know - what a contradiction! Other than that, it kind of depends what mood I'm in.

Essentially, I'm just trying to make my way in this crazy world and looking for someone to share the journey.
