Allons y! So... a site for nerds, eh? Should be right at home.

In the okcupid test, I was a "modern, cool nerd". Whatever *that* means. Liable to quote Buffy, offer people jelly babies, have a gadget for every possible occasion, be annoyingly completist about watching entire seasons of tv programs, twitch at bad grammar or spelling, don't talk in the movies and think bow ties are cool.


Below is my usual blurb.

Confident but self deprecating. Lover of Venn diagrams. Sense of humour is equal parts goofy, dirty and black. Two favourite words are 'haberdashery' and 'bollocks'. Very difficult to get them both into the same sentence. A big fan of grammar and spelling. Will couch-dance to theme tunes of selective tv shows.
Well-travelled. Am not afraid to remove large spiders from the house. I emit a sound only dogs can hear when I see baby animals. Will eat almost anything for a dare (possibly including the above baby animals. Hey, it's the circle of life!)
Sometimes scatterbrained, but not ditsy.
Francophile. Like making things look pretty, but I see beauty in the ordinary, the everyday and the ugly.
I worry about who is going to look after the nature programmes when David Attenborough dies. I don't chat while watching movies. Have a "buy first, google later" policy when it comes to foods I've never seen before.
I tweet often, but only use Facebook under duress.
Love gardening more than it loves me.
I vomit a bit in my mouth when someone uses the word "smooch"
