I am not a nerd. Or am I? However, I have spent a few weeks on a 'straight' dating site and don't seem to gel with the men there. They just don't understand me. Enough moaning already. I realised that I wanted someone I could talk to like I do my friends, who are nerds/geeks, and some of them even admit it.

The thing is, I find nerds to be more intelligent and imaginative, better conversationalists, and, most importantly, interesting. We can all do the romantic stuff but then what? You have to spend time talking and that means you have to know stuff. I like men who know stuff, and are interested in stuff I know, even though it may not be nerdy.

I am interesting, no, really. And, of course, pleasant to look at.

I wish to hear from those of you who would listen to my seemingly endless chatter, and answer my sometimes dumb questions. And I, in turn, would give you my full attention.
