Time Traveler Retired Naval officer. I'm a hypnotherapist with graduate degrees in psychology. I specialize in guided imagery,archetypes, and past life regressions. I love to both read and write. I'm smart, well-educated, an interesting conversationalist, and can make you laugh.

I love to travel most anywhere and I'm fond of amusement parks, especially roller coasters. I like book stores, coffee shops, art galleries,television ("Big Bang Theory" rocks), and movies.

I like people who are off-the-bubble enough to be interesting. I enjoy movies and books that make me laugh while they make me think, especially good science fiction.

I know the question for which 42 is the answer. Trivial Pursuit is the best game ever that can be played in public without getting arrested. I believe in moderation in everything, including moderation. I have learned that being intelligent can be the greatest blessing or the worst curse, depending on who I'm talking to. I think we are in the middle of a technological Renaissance but I wish someone would hurry up and invent the warp drive. I can sit up all night, with sufficient liquid refreshment, and argue the merits of having a Vulcan science officer. Going to Trek Con is a guilty pleasure.

Good food, a decent wine, and dark beer are all proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. I'm not prejudiced against anyone except the humor deprived. I'm honest, but not cruel. I'm silly, but not stupid. I accept your faults and expect the same from you. I believe age is not determined by what year you were born. I have a young heart, an enthusiastic spirit, and a probably misguided optimism.

I'm happy but do get lonely for male companionship. I'm looking for funny, intelligent, educated men who don't take themselves too seriously. A cross between the Doctor, Chuck Bartowski, and Trip Tucker. I like an off-center sense of humor and the ability to surprise me. I seem to have more in common with younger men than those my age.
