I have this friend who I met in highschool. I'm weird, but she accepts me for who I am despite our obvious differences, being politically opposite among other things. Yet we share the same open minded attitude, many of the same ideals and we're similar enough that we talk at least once a week. It may be a matter of empathy and mutual understanding and I really want another relationship like that in some form, be it another platonic or a romantic.

I am, however, fervently opposed to the contemporary ideas of romance. I really hate it when people are trying way too hard to be romantic especially when it's unncessicary too. Sweet talk is ridiculous, so is all of that stuff you see in bad --- scenes in movies. Are they really nessicary?

As you can see, I like to rant. Sometimes I can be a big --- of a know-it-all so I appreciate, even if I object at the time, when someone tells me when to shut up. I'm a bit over ambitious sometimes so it's nessicary.

I'm also impulsive to a core, so if you want to be friends, please, please, don't take what I say personally unless I inform you that I'm being serious.

I'm also not good at verbally expression gratitude and I'm often oblivious to many of the social requirements to that point. That is I rarely say thank you or please, but that doesn't mean I'm intending to be rude. It's just that it never really sunk in a child.

I'm looking for someone patient, who doesn't care about appearance, (I'm overweight, who knew? Who cares?) Who is honest but practical. There's also an issue I have with religion, that is I really don't want to date any one particularly religious, but I'm fine with platonic relationships.

Anyone out there who can balance my chaos with order? Is that asking too much? Haha.
