I'm an active nerd, happy, enjoying life and just throwing this out there to see what happens. I don't feel unfulfilled without a partner, so if nothing comes of this, that's cool. I'm for human and animal rights and equality, and against racism, homophobia, sexism, lookism and other -isms. Religious zealots, hunters, rednecks etc. need not apply. I am also all about sarcasm and snarky wit. I work at an animal hospital, and in the summer as a dancer, and am a serious Kung Fu student. I have a cheesy novel that I'd love to get published once I get the gumption. I love, but do not fully grasp quantum physics.

I like to go out dancing, not clubbing. I would be more spontaneous perhaps if I didn't have things like a job, pets and other responsibilities. I can tell you exactly what I'm not: I'm probably the direct opposite of what the media makes women out to be. I hate diamonds, I've never spent more than $20 on a purse or more than $50 on shoes (and those were sneakers) I don't sit around crying or B----ing with my girl friends, I've never taken a weight loss pill or broken a heel (because I don't usually wear them. The spikey ones are uncomfortable.) And aside from a few snazzy gowns I've gotten for some work benefits, most of my clothes are from Target. I've never even seen "Desperate Housewives." "Chick flicks" don't make me cry, but Jet Li's Fearless did. Blockbusters about things getting blow'd up do not appeal to me. I also don't have to be "one of the guys"; I don't get football or beer. (I'm more of a baseball, plum wine kinda girl. ^_^ )

I'm not into religion, but I believe in Monty Python, personal hygiene, Final Fantasy VII and Zelda, a good day spent playing video games or watching awesome movies, being healthy and treating good people with love and respect. And, apparently, really random lists. ^_^

I hope I haven't bombarded you all or scared you away with weirdness.
