I never know what to say in these things, but...

I consider myself to be a free spirit, passing effortlessly between society and all of its rules. I care not for acceptance, fame, conformity, or economic success. It does not matter whether this is the only life that I will be given or not. All that matters is what I choose to do with the one I have now, which happens to be fulfilling my own happiness.

I am the kind of girl that enjoys a quiet stroll through Magnolia Cemetery as much as Hershey's chocolate. I have an unquinchable thirst for knowledge and adventure. I am vegetarian due to spiritual conviction, but it does not bother me when others consume meat in my presence. Music is my religion. I generally become attached to songs rather than bands. The lyrics and sounds speak to me on an ethereal level. I adore hurricane season. The pounding rain and howling winds make me feel alive. Also, I have a genuine fascination with body modification, conspiracy theories, folklore, Japanese culture, religion, science, and supernatural occurances.

As for who I'd like to meet.. I seek a companion, in friendship and in love, who I can share the simplicities of life with. I desire to feel the rush of a mutual compassion that nothing or nobody could stop. Someone who can simultaneously steal my breath and paralyze my heart when our eyes meet. Someone with enough spontaneity to keep me on my toes, while offering enough stability to assure me that he is not going anywhere. I don't ask for much. He can forget the restaurants and roses, if he would just watch the rain with me. Maybe even be bold enough to ask me to dance in it. I would appreciate trust and dependability over any material possessions. He should impress me with words and not his appearance. I want to be an equal, not an object or burden. I want to be loved, not a convenient placeholder until someone better comes around. Maybe my standards are high, but I deserve nothing less and refuse to settle for it.
