Is there anything more attractive than a brilliant mind?
Is there anything more attractive than a brilliant mind? I can't tell you why intelligence is so appealing to me. I'm smart, a bit flakey upon occasion, but find I have to define my vocabulary when I talk to people sometimes.

I'm not looking for a Sheldon Cooper, though wouldn't mind knowing one in real life. I think that would be a hoot. I want someone who I can spar with verbally when in a silly mood. Someone who doesn't mind explaining to me what I don't understand and listen to me when I know something they don't. I'm curious how things work and why and would like someone to find those answers with. The other side of my coin is I like to watch Spongebob and Futurama. I enjoy reading young adult novels as well as romances and fantasy and sci fi. I love comedies like The Hangover and The Holy Grail, but also find myself captivated by shows like Down the Wormhole and programs on Discovery or Science Channels.

I want to find a man who isn't afraid to show me affection either verbally or physically. I want a kind man who will stop the mower and get off to prod a toad out of the pathway of the blades. I want a man who is understanding when the waiter mixes up our order. I would like a man who is patient when I have difficulty making a decision because I need to consider all the outcomes.

It would be great to start out being friends & see what develops. Ultimately I am looking for a long term relationship, but I don't need it tomorrow. So, if you can tell me the real difference between a "geek" and a "nerd" please contact me so we can compare our answers!
