Live it more Than Think It I am a bit more dorky than nerdy. I guess for me nerds are people who are comfortable not conforming, judging on shallow things, and enjoying dorky conversations over clubbing and looking tough. I have yet to meet a guy who was image obsessed and thinking he was tough who was nerdy. I think nerdy people prefer self-development over external images. Bed head over hours to look good! My brother started programming at age 7 so it feels that nerdy guys are all I understand. I like to build things, and I would like to build something with some guy that wants a woman that is more a friend than anything.
I just want to hang out with someone that gets lonely of reading, writing, and spending time alone. I started to meditate to deal with loneliness, but human contact is kind of nice! I am a super social person, but I do not meet nerdy guys usually at social gatherings,(just weird guys seem to show up at those things, most nerdy guys would rather be getting excited about more hours to build a new hard drive or oddly learning new cooking options- ever nerdy guy I know is a great cook!) and even though I like to talk, I really like to listen to nerdy guys. haha... Other guys just bore me with their banter that sounds like they are reading their resume. I would like to work on more open data options for social change, learn linux now that I seem to have time, and be around ppl who support mental growth over mental kills.
I am open to people, I just know I do better with socially awkward because they GET me. I like people, but they stress me out. I prefer to go hiking alone in the woods and camp under the stars than spend time in cities always, but I do like dancing...I have to go to work, but hope I meet someone that is a bit goofy. My goal for Aug. is to go and make a documentary about Fr. canadians.
