Sincere, intelligent and loyal, I am exhausted by the shallow intellectual and emotional interactions I have experienced on a social level. Don't appear to be a "nerd" on the outside but have what it takes where it counts. Am often told that while I am attractive I am just "too smart". Sigh...what I see as a positive...brilliance!, is seen as a negative by others. I adore those who are "smarter" than me....and there are so many out there who are...intellect is not limited to specific subjects or academic competency...but I haven't been fortunate enough to meet them on a social level...I want depth, insight, friendship and comfort...am not interested in shallow, emotional rollercoaster. I am wonderful at accepting others for being who they are and supporting without ever wanting them to change....would love to find the same. What some see as limits are often strenghts which have not been tapped. Comfortable and pleasant will trump intense and overwhelming any day. Better to have someone in your life who remembers the little things over the long haul and is willing to be open and work things through than to have a "big bang" with no substance...diamonds my physically hang around for ever but they can be lost or change ownership...sincere thoughtfulness is much more "concrete" in the long run...would rather have a "surprise" jar of blackberry jam in the fridge 'cause someone remembered I like it and we are out than a 5 carat diamond....the jam is specific to me ....not ubiquitous to society's expectations. Hope there are others who have my same outlook.
