I'm 21 years old and living in a place that is more or less the exact opposite of where I'd like to be. I'm not so much of a geek as I am a nerd. But, that's up for debate.

I love video games, learning languages, ancient Egypt, science fiction and fantasy, mythology, and 19th century literature. Of course, I'm not completely disconnected from pop culture- since I love television and movies. Oh! Which reminds me that I love foreign films. I'm not your run of the mill female type.

I'm pretty sarcastic and I don't take many things too seriously. Let alone myself. Life is too short to spend it all frowning about everything. And I think most importantly- I'm constantly laughing or smiling. I try not to let other people's negative vibes "damage my calm". Concerning what I'm looking for- Definitely someone who can keep me laughing and who shares my interests.


I can't stand people who think their always right, or people who like to throw themselves pity parties. I love guys in glasses and guys who know what fashion is. Thick rimmed glasses, suits, ties, vests- these things make me melt like ice cream. Someone who will attend sci-fi conventions with me and have a good time. Someone who can laugh at themselves, and someone compassionate.
