After much examination, I tried to find a quote that would best explain who I am and what I stand for and all sorts of other eloquent things. The quote I came back to was "I have a rock garden. Last week three of them died."(Richard Diran) So that was definitely not the way to go. I read for fun, I can play the flute and a little piano, and I'm fairly talented singer.(I'll be modest when modesty is due...for example, I have an awful sense of direction and have also run into the same wall. Twice.) I'm a full time receptionist but that's not as exciting as the attempts to be a full time actress (Two shows coming up!) It means I spend a lot of time in rehearsal, but I'm readily able to communicate by email and IM. My favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, Neil Gaiman, Robin McKinley, and Orson Scott Card(Though I haven't managed to get through Ender's Game...convince me I should.) I go to the Renaissance Faire in costume and like bringing as many people with me as possible but I'm not a stickler for historical accuracy. However, this is entirely too long, and probably too much information. In short: I'm a big nerd, but in the best sort of way.
I'm looking for someone who loves the smell of books, who isn't afraid to go to the Ren Faire in costume, who is up for new experiences whether its food or fun. And who will forgive me a for a run on sentence or two.
