I'm a lifelong RPGer and boardgamer, into fantasy and sci-fi (books, TV, movies, games), heavy metal, prog rock, spicy food, good discussions, and computer programming. I also used to LARP, re-enact and wargame. My greatest sorrow is the state of society - I always wanted to leave a Star Trek-like socialist world for my descendants, not the dog-eat-dog Dark Future we seem to be headed towards. I'm looking for someone non-materialistic to share everything with; someone who won't expect me to wear makeup, shave under my arms, and do the housework on my own, just because I'm the woman. I also value honesty and owning up, and I have an overdeveloped sense of justice (which has taken a serious pounding due to life, the universe and everything, but mostly because of the way "ordinary" people think is acceptable to behave).

Oh, and holiday-wise I love exploring and immersing myself in other cultures. I love learning things (especially languages), and enjoy science documentaries, but I'm a bit of a jack-of-all.. If I could have any superabilities it would be to freeze time (so I could have a long lie in and still have a busy day) and teleport (because I hate commuting, although I like going on real journeys - inc. midnight walks with good company and supplies) [and Hiro gets them both - how jammy]. I also love sitting around and chilling to good conversation.

Searching for mature cuddly gamer who is happy to stay in but willing to go out and blast the cobwebs away, who enjoys reading and watching sci-fi and fantasy on TV, and is sociable, and a good discusser. I have an occasional fiery temper, so I need someone easy-going who won't still be angry when I've calmed down (usually within seconds). My friends say my taste in men is towards shaggy bears, but my hobbies and interests (esp. RPGs and metal/rock) are essential to the quality of my life, so bear-like (without the grumps) is just an added bonus.
