I joined this site because I'm already a member of Trek passions and thought this would be a nice bookend site. And if being a member of Trek Passions doesn't make me a geek, I don't know what does.
I'm mostly a science fiction, tv/movies, fandom, fan fiction and science/academia geek. I am involved in very geeky activities like traveling to media/fan conventions, reading comics, watching anime, reading fanfiction, discussing very geeky things etc.
Also, I have a not unimpressive collection of things so geeky/nerdy, they practically scream it. Sitting at my computer I have in my direct line of sight: Uhura and Kirk dolls from the Mirror Mirror verse, a Beanie Spock, a "Save Carson.com" flag, A Doctor Who action figure set, a sonic screwdriver, Torchwood badges, a Serenity keychain, a Harry Potter desk calendar and framed art, and a bowling trophy that says "Best of the Worst". Geeky enough for you? *grin*
