I've always been a nerd. Although, it took some time for me to embrace it. I've been playing the cello since age 7. I was in the math league. Always ahead of my class. For some reason, I never quite fit in. Not even with my fellow nerds in my advanced placement classes. I suppose it could be my unambiguous tomboyish characteristics. Perhaps it was due to my being surrounded by what I would describe as beau monde students while I would be refered to as bourgeois. Either way, school was a constant struggle. Fast forward to recent events, I will now present my dilemma. I have recently sustained a brain injury. I am profoundly aware that my IQ has decreased immensely. My memory has been severely effected. I would just like to have some sort of stimulating contact with other individuals like myself...or, shall I say, my former self?
